Here at Brown Rigg, there’s something for all the family. Both on-site and in the surrounding area there is a variety of things to choose from, and you’ll be in a quandary over what to do first!
On-site you can play Football, Cricket, Frisbee, Swing Ball and many other activities on our games field
Children can ride their bikes around the tarmac courtyard or try a bit of off-roading cycling.

In the evenings, why not enjoy a family barbeque ... all the equipment is provided. Or why not sit outside your lodge in Europe’s largest International Dark Sky Park and gaze up at the unpolluted star-scape and point out star constellations to the kids. For the braver family members, there’s the open air swimming pool at Haltwhistle, whilst families that prefer to swim in a warmer environment can take a dip at Bellingham’s Riverdale Hotel or at Hexham’s Wentworth Leisure Centre.
